Virtu Releases Official Remix Of RKCB’s “Daydreamin”

We’re not even a month into 2016 and already your locally managed artists are carving up the scene in a big way. V2‘s very own Virtu, who’s represented on Chill HarrisSexy Electric label, released his official remix of RKCB‘s “Daydreamin” exclusively to Spotify on January 13th, only to have it shoot to the top of the Spotify viral charts in the UK, US, Australia, Brazil, and basically anywhere in the world addicted to EDM. Now, the track is available everywhere. It effortlessly combines entrancing and twisting male vocals, smooth synths, sublime piano work, a truly euphoric atmosphere, some amazing drops, and with great wubbed out bass.

If you haven’t already heard this massive euphoric club hit, you’re now doing yourself a favor by giving it a listen, and if your friends haven’t heard it you are officially doing them a favor, and trust me, they owe you for it now.

Virtu has already played some of the biggest venues and festivals such as EDC and Global Dance Festival in Colorado. He’s also shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Flying Lotus, Mord Fustang, Arty and Tritonal. Musically, he shares a lot in common with acts like Seven Lions—who he’s received support from in the past—along with other industry giants like BT, Gareth Emery, Dyro, and Spencer & Hill.

When asked about his inspiration for the track Virtu had this to say, “I was very inspired by their fantastic vocals. We had a session together and they (RKCB) are great guys who are destined for big things. So happy to be working with great musicians! Hope you enjoy this remix! It’s my favorite track I’ve done thus far” We here at EDM Utah certainly agree and collectively can’t wait to hear more of what he has in store for 2016.
